Distance driving closely parallels the sport of competitive riding. It is a paced event where the care and fitness of the horse is the main requirement.  This clinic is ideal for drivers and assistants who would like to learn about distance driving events and how they are judged and scored.

*Distance driving rules

*Competitive pace and scoring  

*Vet checks and presenting your horse

*Pulse and respiration

*Conditioning and feeding

*Safety check – harness, vehicle,
  spare’s
kit

 

When:  Saturday, February 28, 2004, 9:30AM to 2:30 PM

Where:  WEST 20 Ranch and Saddle Co., W4812 Hwy 20, East Troy, WI 53120

Directions:  WEST 20 is located 8 miles west of East Troy on the north side of Hwy 20.  WEST 20 is east of La Grange and just east of the junctions of Hwys 12, 20 and 67.

Registration & Fees:  Registration starts at 9AM.  Cost for the day is $20 per person, or $15 combined with new MDDA membership.  Youth at $15.  Lunch included with each registration.
