WELCOME to MIDWEST DISTANCE DRIVING ASSOCIATION.

We’re glad you stopped by to visit our website on distance driving. Perhaps you’ve just discovered MDDA and want to learn more about just what we do.  Perhaps you’ve come to check the schedule to see when and where competitive drives are being held or check the results of past drives.  Or perhaps you are just interested in looking at some photographs of our horses and drivers at the various competitions.  Whatever the reason, thanks for browsing and drop us a line if we can answer any questions or be of service to you.

Dear Friends,

This has turned out to be a pretty outstanding year!

We started the year with a near rain out of Iron Oaks, but we managed to have a pretty good turnout.

Glacier Trails and ApDRA had very respectable participation.

Then a lot of rain caused the canceling of Endure for the Cure and relocation disrupted the driving at Lincoln Trails.

The turnout was poor for Wildcat, but recovered nicely at Louise Riedel Memorial.  Participation continued strong through Colorama and DRAW-arama.

As a result of strong participation, even with the canceled drives, we currently have 7 drivers with 5 or more drives, 3 drivers with 3 drives and 4 drivers with 1 drive.

There is just one event left this year, AHDRA III on Oct 24 & 25 at Big River near Keithsburg, IL I think we’ll have at least 3 participants there this year.  JOIN THEM IF YOU CAN.

Mark your calendars now for Sunday, November 8, to attend our Annual Meeting and Awards Ceremony at the McFarland Municipal Center in McFarland, WI. from 3pm to 8pm.  We’ll have some entertainment, ‘bring a dish to pass’ dinner, our annual meeting and pass out awards to our deserving members.

This is always a FUN event, and even though I didn’t drive and therefore can’t contribute my hair raising stories, I’m sure there will be plenty of stories to go around.

.

Hope to see you at the Annual Meeting,

Jac
